Jakarta, October 24, 2025 – The Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Public Works (Kementerian PU) collaborated with AECC Indonesia and Massey University, New Zealand to host a Masterclass on Construction and Project Management.
The hybrid event, held both offline and online, was attended by 809 participants, including government officials, professionals, academics, and students interested in scholarships and international education opportunities.In her opening remarks, Ms. Lina Anggraini, Secretary of BPSDM, explained that this program is part of BPSDM's ongoing effort to improve the skills and competencies of Indonesia's public works professionals.
She emphasized that AECC Indonesia plays an important role in connecting Indonesian students and professionals with top international universities to strengthen human development and global competitiveness.The keynote presentation was delivered by Professor Monty Sutrisna, Professor of Construction and Project Management at Massey University.
He introduced the university's School of Built Environment, which offers programs from diploma to PhD levels, covering areas such as sustainable construction, digital project management, and facilities management.This Masterclass also showed how international education and scholarship programs play an important role in supporting Indonesia's infrastructure and human resource development.
Participants learned how opportunities such as LPDP scholarships and university collaborations can help professionals and students build global expertise in construction and project management.With more than 800 participants taking part, this Masterclass demonstrates the strong commitment of BPSDM Kementerian PU, AECC Indonesia, and Massey University to prepare the next generation of skilled professionals.
